Yeah. Waaaay too hot to cut the grass. I almost got heatstroke. And I broke one of the lawn mowers. Dad’s gonna flip.

Concerned about my future, I was getting insurance quotes. It’s depressing. I already got the vision one, so just waiting for that to be sent to me so I can finally get my eye exam, and hopefully move forward. Also waiting for my new transcript so that my license can get a move on. My auto insurance quotes averaged at 800 dollars a year, which isn’t all THAT bad. I figure if I can just get by with vision, auto and liabilty insurance I can eek it out so that I can get a job and finally think about paying for the rest of it. I’m estimating about 13,000 dollars a year for full insurance coverage.

Since I can’t figure out what I’m going to do about living places (northern VA prices are incredibly steep) I’ve been reading up on apartment reviews around here and it’s soooo depressing. I don’t even know why i just wasted 2 hours of my life reading those things. I never liked reading review sites like because people generally don’t post anything unless they’re really upset or really happy. And the people who are in the middle trying to give an accurate representation of everything get flamed the moment they put anything down. Not to mention, you don’t know if the comments are jaded because the posts are anonymous; they might be staff members or the same disgruntled person posting over and over again, stalking all the comments.

IN other news I found more things to give away, as I continue to consolidate my belongings. Now to go through my desk drawers and the boxes under my desk. I have no idea how I’m going to move my myriad of books. This wouldn’t be so horrible if I didn’t feel like it’s dangerous to leave things at my house and get them later.

Its H-O-T Hot outside!!! And I’m hungry. :)

  1. insurance is one thing you don’t want to skimp on, so get the essential coverages first, then add on later. it seems like you’re on the right track.
by the way, i made something for you. can i use the mailing address that you put on the envelope you sent during christmas?

    1. But it’s soooo expensive and I don’t have a jooob. D: But I understand what you’re getting at. I may be careful and stuff, but all of that won’t save me if something just happens to happen by accident. At least some insurance is better than no insurance.
And yes! By all means! :)
