people are stupid

It was last night when I decided this but this morning just comfirmed this sentiment for me. WE went out to paint the rock and after putting on our 2 coats of paint in preparation to spray paint our birthday wish, we went inside to let it dry and because it was freezing. We left our paint outside because first off, we’d done it before and other ppl had done it before. When we finally came back out, some creeps had decided to use our spray paint and painted a penis and “nate is gay.” NOT HAPPY.

we finally got it all nice and painted after much raving and ranting. I had brought my camera and took alot of pictures of our design before I left with a feeling of foreboding. When we took the pictures I had already thought about the possibility of them coming back and doing the same thing over. I skipped anthro this morning, so I didn’t know the fate of our work until about 20 minutes ago: guess. ding ding ding. I was SO right. And thank goodness I took pictures because otherwise we’d never have been able to prove what was on the thing. I’m not terribly upset just because i knew it was going to happen, but I am upset by the fact that people in college would do such juvenile things: mess up someone’s hardwork aimed at happiness for a friend just because what…to look cool for the guys? what the heck.

Once again, my faith in humanity has plummeted. We cant even leave stuff around anymore without someone vandalizing or stealing. As I grow older I see more and more examples of humanity deteriorating. We cant play in the streets without being afraid of pervs and killers, there can’t be nice things around without someone messing it up. Especially on this campus, there has been a remarkable decline as Mary Washington becomes more heard of. I was all over this campus freshman year and there were very very few incidences of vandalizing–if any.

NO kids for me.

suck suck suck suck
